Systems of valorization of the territory with the cultural tourism of the olive oil

The Sarullo family has always been committed to the dissemination of food education projects and oil tasting laboratories, to raise awareness especially among the youngest to the knowledge and consumption of EVO oil, through sensory educational laboratories of taste. These activities are organized in the premises of the ancient family oil mill, in Calamonaci, the place where everything was born thanks to the founders of the company. Today it is used as a tasting room and also hosts cultural events such as concerts, exhibitions, conferences and events aimed at promoting the gastronomic products of the territory.

In addition to the visit to our farm, we also offer visits to our olive groves and suggest itineraries to archaeological and natural sites in our province, because we are convinced that in order to promote an agri-food product it is necessary to promote and also tell the identity of the territory from which it comes.

Our products

It was the quality of our oil that was rewarded. But what determined this quality?
It is not just the rules, although necessary, of land management and the oil mill.
A determining role to obtain quality is played also by the pedoclimatic conditions and the cultivars, that is the variety of the olives, used. And it is also the so-called biodiversity that makes quality.
